About Goose

My name is Anthony “Goose” Zaragoza, and I’m the owner and lead mechanic here. I’m a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and godfather—and above all, I care deeply about family and safety.

I’m a self-taught mechanic and lifelong bookworm, constantly learning about different makes, models, and the latest innovations in automotive technology. Raised by a single father and my grandma, I was taught the values of self-reliance, compassion, and empathy. I know firsthand how critical a reliable vehicle is—whether you're a retiree trying to stay independent or a working single parent juggling responsibilities. When your car runs right, life runs smoother. That’s a big part of why I do what I do.

I didn’t take the traditional route to gain my mechanical knowledge. Instead, I taught myself over the years, using my dream car as my classroom. I learned everything I could while working outside the automotive field, driven by passion and purpose. Now that I’ve fully shifted into the industry, I continue to grow through hands-on experience and professional training.

I take pride in knowing my limits and staying within them. If a job calls for something outside my scope, I’ll be upfront and make sure you get the right help. That’s how I protect your vehicle—and your trust.

My services are designed to keep you informed—not just about what’s wrong, but how your vehicle works. I explain how parts interact, what causes wear, and how to prevent future issues. I treat every vehicle like it’s my own, which means I don’t rush jobs. I take the extra steps, add the extra touch, and pay close attention to detail.

I believe in doing right by people—because what you put out comes back. I treat every job with care, honesty, and respect. That’s just how I operate.

Goose's Mobile Mechanic Service LLCTerms & Conditions**

A customer-first approach to trust, transparency, and quality care

By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which constitute a binding agreement between you and Goose’s Mobile Mechanic Service LLC.

---

🦢 Mission Objective**

Promote smooth operations and transparency by clarifying how parts and payments are handled before wheels-up.

🛢️ Fuel & Hardware Manifest (Parts Handling)

- Our service packages include labor only. Parts like oil, filters, and crush washers are quoted separately based on your vehicle’s specs.

- Looking to upgrade to specialty hardware? Just give us the heads-up so we can prep the payload accordingly.

💳 Pre-Flight Clearance (Parts Payment)

To ensure your parts are sourced accurately and on time, we require upfront payment for all parts. This locks in your booking and guarantees we arrive fully equipped. Labor is due upon successful touchdown (aka service completion).

➡️ All deposits and parts payments must be made via Zelle.

This helps us track and organize bookings efficiently, providing a clear record for both pilot and passenger.

🧰 Passenger-Carried Cargo (Customer-Supplied Parts)

You're welcome to supply your own parts. If you choose this route:

- We'll install them with professional care.

- The fit, performance, and durability of those parts are your responsibility.

📋 Flight Manifest (Estimates & Invoicing)

You’ll receive a clear, itemized estimate before liftoff, covering:

- Labor charges

- Parts pricing

- Any additional fees

No guesswork—just open skies and clear communication

---

🔍 Diagnostics & Inspection Policy

Diagnostic and inspection services are billed at a flat rate based on the vehicle’s platform and service tier. If you approve a qualifying repair within 5 calendar days of the original evaluation, your diagnostic fee may be credited toward the labor portion of that repair.

You’ll always receive a clear explanation of findings, along with an estimate, before any repair work begins—no surprises, just solid solutions.

---

🧰 Hourly Labor & Vehicle Complexity Tiers

Standard labor is billed at $90/hr, based on straightforward access and conventional engine layouts. Higher rates apply to platforms requiring additional time, specialized tools, or system-specific procedures—such as:

- European vehicles (tight tolerances, specialty hardware)

- Turbocharged setups (boost plumbing, heat shielding)

- Hybrid or EV platforms (high-voltage systems, limited clearances)

- Performance or modified builds (non-OE setups, advanced diagnostics)

Labor estimates are calculated using industry-standard guides and tailored to your exact make, model, and condition. If added access time or complexity is anticipated, I’ll explain it clearly before any work is performed—no surprises.

---

🔩 Customer-Supplied Parts

I’m happy to install customer-supplied parts as long as they’re reviewed and approved in advance. To ensure safe and successful service, I may decline installation if the part is visibly incorrect, poorly manufactured, unverified, or incompatible with your vehicle.

Please note:

- I cannot guarantee the performance, fitment, or longevity of parts not sourced through my vendors.

- If the part fails during or after installation, I cannot be held liable for resulting repairs, rework, or additional labor.

- If the installation can’t proceed due to part quality or incompatibility, a trip charge or partial diagnostic fee may still apply to cover time and travel.

> I’ll always let you know upfront if something looks questionable before moving forward. My goal is to help you save where you can—without compromising safety or quality.

---

⏱️ Time Estimates & Job Duration

Quoted service times are based on standard labor guides, expected access, and typical vehicle condition. While I aim to stay within estimated durations, actual time may vary due to factors like:

- Vehicle complexity or modifications

- Rusted, seized, or non-factory hardware

- Additional issues uncovered during service

- Customer-supplied part fitment or delays

> If a job runs significantly over the estimated time due to unforeseen complications, I’ll stop and discuss it with you before continuing. Likewise, if the job wraps up faster than quoted, you’ll only be billed for time worked—never the full estimate unless it was a flat-rate.

---

💳 Payments

At Goose's Mobile Mechanic Service, we offer flexible and secure payment options to make your mobile mechanic experience as smooth as possible. We accept payments via:

- Stripe (credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay)

- Zelle (direct bank transfer)

- Cash (accepted on-site)

> Parts Payment Requirement: To ensure timely procurement and service efficiency, all parts must be paid for in advance via Zelle. This policy helps us avoid delays and confirms your commitment to the repair process.

Stripe is used for secure digital transactions and service payments, while Zelle offers a fast, fee-free way to handle parts-related costs. Cash is accepted for labor and service fees only, and must be paid in full upon completion of work.

💰 Stripe’s Pricing & Fees

Stripe uses a transaction-based pricing model, meaning businesses pay per transaction rather than monthly fees.

| Payment Type | Fee Structure |

|------------------------------|--------------------------------------------|

| Online card payments | 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction |

| In-person payments (Terminal)| 2.7% + $0.05 per transaction |

| International cards | +1.5% additional |

| Currency conversion | +1% additional |

| ACH Direct Debit | 0.8% per transaction (max $5 fee) |

| Instant Payouts | +1% of payout amount (min $0.50) |

| Klarna (BNPL) | 5.99% + $0.30 per transaction |

🧾 Financing with Affirm (via Stripe)

For eligible purchases, Stripe offers customers the option to apply for Affirm, a third-party financing service that allows you to split payments over time.

If you choose to apply for Affirm during checkout:

- You will be redirected to Affirm’s application process.

- Approval, terms, and repayment schedules are determined solely by Affirm.

- "Goose's Mobile Mechanic Service" is not involved in the financing decision, agreement, or repayment process.

> Please note: Once you select Affirm as your payment method, all financing-related inquiries—including billing, interest rates, and payment issues—must be directed to Affirm.

⚠️ Important Disclaimer

Services or products will not be rendered, shipped, or fulfilled until payment confirmation is received from Affirm. If your application is pending, declined, or delayed, your order may be held until payment is verified.

We recommend reviewing Affirm’s terms and conditions carefully before applying. Financing is offered as a convenience through Stripe, but it is entirely managed by Affirm.

🎁 Loyalty & Discount Policy

Because loyalty deserves recognition—and good vibes deserve a reward.

These discount categories are available to eligible customers. All discounts must be approved and applied at the time of service. They may not be combined unless otherwise noted, and they’re subject to review based on job scope, platform complexity, and overall fairness.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family & Friends

Offered to verified family members and close personal friends. Designed to say thanks for supporting the flock since day one.

👴 Seniors

A respectful nod to the experienced co-pilots among us. Available to customers age 65 and older, with a friendly verification if needed.

First-Time Customer

A welcome aboard perk for first-time clients booking qualifying labor—just to show you're already flying with the right crew.

🤝 Referral Reward

If you refer someone who completes service, you earn a discount on your next repair. One good deed deserves another—and we keep track.

🚗Multi-Car Maintenance

Got more than one vehicle that needs attention? Returning with a second ride qualifies for a stacked loyalty bonus, as long as it’s scheduled in a timely fashion.

🔁Repeat Customer Appreciation

Once you’ve completed two qualifying services, you are part of the inner flock. This recurring loyalty benefit rewards those who roll with Goose time and time again.

Discounts are granted at my discretion, with fairness, longevity, and gratitude in mind. I’m here to take care of my loyal clients—the ones who keep the wheels turning and the feathers fluffed.

---

💵 Fees & Surcharges

Certain service conditions may require additional fees to cover time, travel, access, or handling. These are designed to keep mobile operations fair and transparent. When in doubt, I’ll communicate clearly before service begins.

🚐 Mobile Service Fee

- Within 10 miles – Included

- 10–25 miles – +$10-$25

- 25+ miles – + 1.50xMile

> Covers fuel, travel time, and mobile setup.

🛢️ Fluid & Parts Disposal Fee

- Up to 5 quarts – $5

- Over 5 quarts – $10

> Covers safe and legal disposal of used oil, coolant, or components.

Cancellation Policy (with Flexibility)

- $30-$50 fee may apply if prep work has started or the schedule was disrupted

- First-time cancellations or early notice may be waived at my discretion

> Respecting your time and mine—I’ll always try to be understanding when life happens.

🧰 Customer-Supplied Parts Handling

- $10–$25 based on complexity

> Includes fitment verification, install prep, and limited warranty support.

🔩 Stuck or Damaged Hardware Fee

- $30–$65+, case-by-case depending on severity

> Applies when rusted, seized, stripped, or broken fasteners require extra labor, extraction, or tool time beyond standard procedure.

Upfront clarity:

If during service I spot hardware that’s clearly compromised, I’ll point it out and walk you through the likely scenario before continuing. This way, you’re informed and in control before extra effort is taken.

Priority Booking Surcharge

To maintain fairness in scheduling and accommodate occasional urgent needs, a Priority Booking Surcharge may apply at my discretion. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Same-day or short-notice requests that require rearranging an existing schedule

- After-hours service (outside normal business hours)

- Emergency troubleshooting for drivability or safety-critical issues

The surcharge helps offset time, travel, or coordination efforts required to assist outside the standard workflow. I’ll always discuss this with you before scheduling so there are no surprises.

> This fee is never applied automatically—it’s reserved for genuine priority bookings where flexibility is required on both ends.

---

🔧 Appointments & Scheduling

Appointments are confirmed once service details are finalized. For larger repairs or specialty parts, a deposit may be required. The customer must be present at the scheduled time or arrange secure vehicle access in advance. Arrival windows may vary slightly due to traffic, weather, or prior service delays—but I’ll always keep you in the loop if anything changes.

---

🕒 Cancellations, Rescheduling & Deposits

Life happens—and I do my best to accommodate changes. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so I can adjust my service calendar and assist other customers fairly.

For larger repairs, specialty labor, or parts requiring advance ordering, a deposit will be required to secure your appointment. Deposits go toward your final invoice and help offset prep time, parts coordination, and blocked scheduling.

Late cancellations or no-shows—especially once a deposit has been made or prep work has started—may result in the deposit being partially or fully non-refundable, depending on the situation.

> I’ll always aim to be fair and flexible. Communication goes a long way—and I’ll do the same for you when things shift unexpectedly on my end.

---

🔒 Garage-Only Job Policy

For certain high-complexity or extended-duration services, the following policy applies:

1. Garage Requirement for Extended Jobs

Jobs estimated to exceed 5 labor hours must be performed in a secure, enclosed garage provided by the customer. This ensures safe and efficient completion of work that may require multi-day staging.

2. Overnight Tool Staging

Extended jobs may involve leaving tools, equipment (e.g., jack stands, hydraulic jacks), or partially disassembled components at the worksite overnight. A garage environment is required to protect these assets from theft, weather exposure, and tampering.

3. Job Eligibility

Garage-only designation applies to, but is not limited to:

- Subframe removal and installation

- Suspension overhauls

- Transmission or differential service

- Rust mitigation or bolt extraction

- Any service requiring significant underbody access or multi-day labor

4. Customer Responsibility

Customers must confirm garage availability prior to booking. If a secure garage is not available, the job may be declined or rescheduled at the technician’s discretion.

5. Safety and Liability

The technician is not liable for any damage, theft, or loss of tools or vehicle components left in unsecured environments. This policy is in place to protect both parties and ensure professional standards are maintained.

---

🛡️ Anti-Theft & Tampering Protection Policy

🔒 Respect for Personal Property

Interior compartments (glove boxes, center consoles, etc.) remain untouched unless needed for service and approved in advance. I’ll let you know first if access is necessary.

📸 Photos for Transparency

I take photos of your vehicle before service starts—odometer, exterior, and key components—purely for mutual documentation.

🧾 Pre-Service Notes & Walkthroughs

A quick check-in walkthrough is encouraged but not required. This helps log any warnings, personal items, or damage before service begins.

🧰 Vehicle Access & Key Handling

If you won’t be on site, we’ll coordinate key exchange or access. I’ll confirm when service starts and ends. Your keys are never left unattended.

✍️ Service Summary

After work is complete, I’ll explain everything I did—repairs, reinstalled panels, and any issues noted—plus photos if needed.

🎥 Dash Cam Friendly

Feel free to leave your dash cam running. I won’t disable or interfere with it.

🚨 Respect Policy

If concerns arise, I’ll address them seriously and with full transparency. I ask for mutual respect—excessive unfounded accusations or aggressive behavior may lead to service being declined.

---

📃 Additional Customer Policies

However, I am not responsible for any pre-existing damage, unrelated system failures, or wear-related issues that surface during or after service. As a result, systems like radios, clocks, memory seats, engine computers, or warning lights may reset or behave differently after service. You’re welcome to reach out any time, and I’ll respond promptly during business hours. I appreciate timely replies to minimize delays and ensure smooth service.

---

🔐 Customer Privacy & Data Handling

Any personal or vehicle data collected—such as photos, diagnostics, contact info, or service records—is used strictly for job documentation and communication. I never sell or share your information.

Data Security Measures

- Stored in encrypted files or password-protected systems.

- Access limited to service-related personnel only.

- Retention period: up to 2 years post-service, then securely deleted.
